Parking at JHU Homewood Campus
Visitor rates not yet confirmed. We haven't been able to confirm current visitor daily parking rates. Contact JHU Transportation Services directly at (410) 516-7275 to confirm rates and ask about "Event Parking" arrangements for the conference specifically — group event parking is sometimes handled differently from standard visitor parking.

Other visitor options
JHU also lists San Martin Garage, the top level of West Gate Garage, and the School of Education Lot as visitor parking on or near Homewood Campus.
Getting to Baltimore by Train
Amtrak (Northeast Regional and Acela) serves Baltimore Penn Station (1500 N Charles St) from Washington DC (~1 hr), Philadelphia (~1–1.5 hr), and New York (~2.5–3 hr).
The MARC Penn Line is the cheaper regional option from DC (~1 hr), but runs a limited weekend schedule. That's not an issue for the conference itself — October 15–16, 2026 are a Thursday and Friday — but worth noting if you're arriving the weekend before.
Penn Station ≠ BWI. Baltimore Penn Station is not the same as the BWI Airport rail station, which is much farther from Homewood Campus. If you're flying into BWI, plan on a separate leg into the city rather than assuming the airport station gets you there.
Penn Station to Homewood Campus
JHU Keswick–Penn Commuter Shuttle
Monday–Friday only · covers both conference days (Thu–Fri)
Stops at Penn Station (both a "Penn Station S" and "Penn Station N" stop) and Bloomberg Student Center on Homewood Campus, looping Keswick → Bloomberg Student Center → Penn Station → Stieff Silver. About 5 morning runs (7:35–9:40 AM departures from Keswick) and 6 afternoon runs (2:25–4:55 PM).
Confirm before relying on it. The published schedule doesn't make clear whether a rider arriving at Penn Station can catch the same loop back toward campus, or has to wait for the next Keswick-originating run — or whether the shuttle is open to conference visitors at all, as opposed to JHU affiliates only. Call JHU Transportation Services at (410) 516-7275 or email shuttles@jhu.edu to confirm before planning around it.
Other options: it's roughly a 1–1.5 mile walk from Penn Station to Homewood Campus (approximately 25–30 minutes), or a short rideshare (Uber/Lyft) — the simplest fallback if the shuttle timing doesn't line up with your train.
